Activation of GPR61 stimulates the recruitment of β-Arrestin-2 and produces EFC signal. eXpress kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, detection reagent, and assay plates. Biocolor Blyscan Glycosaminoglycan (sGAG) Isolation & Concentration Pack (100 samples). DESCRIPTION: Isolation & Concentration reagents for use with Blyscan Glycosaminoglycan Assay. Blyscan Glycosaminoglycan Assay is a quantitative colorimetric dye-binding method for analysis of sulfated proteoglycans and glycosaminoglycans (sGAG). It can be used to measure total sGAG content and can also to determine the O- and N-sulfated GAG ratio within test samples. The assay uses 1,9-dimethylmethylene blue dye employed under conditions that provide a specific label for the sulfated polysaccharide component of proteoglycans or the protein free sulfated glycosaminoglycan chains. APPLICATIONS: Cell culture derived material, soluble sGAGs from fluids (ex. synovial fluid, urine), fibrous and hyaline cartilages, tissues (ex. arteries, heart, lung, skin, tumors). Soluble sGAGs may be assayed directly, solid materials will require a preliminary papain extraction.
